Why I’m Taking on the LIVIN Better Challenge

Mental health isn’t something we can switch on and off. It’s something we need to work on, nurture, and prioritise, every single day. That’s exactly why I’m taking on the LIVIN Better Challenge.

I’m proud to be representing Snap Fitness Coolalinga in the Livin Better Challenge, committing to 9,000 steps every day. Each step represents one of the 9 lives lost daily to suicide in Australia — a powerful reminder of why this matters. This challenge isn’t just about physical movement, it’s about starting conversations, checking in with your mates, and recognising how closely mental health and physical health are connected. Looking after your body can help support your mind, and vice versa. It should never feel like a weakness to speak up — it’s one of the strongest things you can do.
